About the grant
YES Fund applications are reviewed by a committee of community members and funds will be distributed to Adams 12 Five Star Schools. This fund is used to support Adams 12 students and staff, and all purchased items belong to the school or department, not to an individual. Principals and Directors must approve applications before submitting to the Foundation.

Requests must be student-focused

Absolutely no stipend requests

We cannot fund capital projects or improvements, competitions or travel needs, or ongoing food needs.

We cannot fund iPads per district protocol.

We give priority to curricular vs. extra-curricular requests

Request for purchasing items must be a one-time expense or used within an academic year. Unused funds must be returned to the Foundation.
Donors choose:
Applications that include Donors Choose are a great way to pull resources because of the matching programs and exposure to more donors. Depending on how many applications are received per application period, the Foundation will review Adams 12 teachers' posts on Donors Choose. This happens often, but it is not a guarantee, and we do not check Donors Choose regularly.
