COVID-19 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic had long-lasting effects on our educational system and all of our personal lives. Despite navigating constantly shifting learning models, safety guidelines, and student needs, Five Star students and staff successfully completed the 2020-2021 school year.

The Adams 12 Five Star Schools and Five Star Education Foundation provided services and support for the pandemic unlike any other district in Colorado. By working together, we achieved the 2021 Colorado’s Stories of Promising Practices Award by the Colorado Department of Education. Thank you to the Adams 12 leadership, the Office of Whole Child Initiatives, and all who have worked tirelessly to support our students through these unprecedented last two years. It takes a village!
