The Five Star Education Foundation was formed in September 1985 by 10 dedicated citizens.

The Very Special Arts Program

The Very Special Arts program, which began in January 2008, is funded with generous donations from Adolfson & Peterson Construction Company. The program pairs students identified with special learning, physical or mental challenges with local artists.
